Basel Pilgrimage

Oliver Bothwell of noclichésallowed spent the last week with the Information Design pathway exploring the typographic history of Switzerland in and around Basel.

noclichésallowed is a collaboration started by seven graphic designers all of whom have a link to the LCC.

Oliver has put together a nice collection of vintage posters and other snaps that he took on his trip over on Flickr.

Swiss Miss to talk to Parsons

Tina Roth Eisenberg, the Swiss-born, New York based designer, commonly known in blogging circles as Swiss Miss, is to deliver a lecture to the design students at Parsons, The New School for Design.

The talk is due to take place on December 2, 6:30PM at Parsons School of Design, Kellen Auditorium, 66 Fifth Avenue, Room 101, NYC. It will also be streamed at the time of the event here.

Tina will share insights into the work she’s done in New York City and how her blog has became a vibrant part of her business model and design studio, attracting 600,000 monthly visitors from all over the globe.
