It aims to make the interface a clean, minimal experience where you&#8217;re not assaulted by an array of colours, social features and buttons (using Shortcuts instead). It&#8217;s designed for people who just read the latest entries in expanded view without all the other gubbins.</p>
<p>Helvetireader has been developed by <a href="http://hicksdesign.co.uk/goodies/" title="Jon Hicks">Jon Hicks</a>.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-10689931">BBC has just posted</a> an interesting, and somewhat humorous, article regarding type. One part which made me smile read:</p>
<p>&#8220;When Avatar, the biggest grossing movie of all time was released, one section of the audience was immediately outraged. Graphic designers hated it. Why? They didn&#8217;t like the font that director James Cameron had chosen for the subtitles.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Worth a read to see Gatwick Airport&#8217;s new logo. I prefer the old one.</p>
